A woman is in hospital recovering from serious stab wounds to her neck and torso after TTC passengers noticed that the she was injured on a bus.
Police say the woman was attacked at about 8 p.m. Monday night, but was able to escape by getting onto a westbound TTC bus at Bayview and Eglinton Avenues.
Passengers noticed the woman was hurt and the westbound vehicle stopped a few blocks down the road.
Police say no charges have been laid in the domestic dispute, but a man has been taken into custody.
