Two officers have been taken to hospital following a crash involving two cruisers on Highway 407 near Yonge St. Saturday afternoon, police say.
A cruiser was parked at the edge of the highway after pulling over a Honda Accord for a traffic stop when it was rear-ended by another police cruiser, the OPP says.
One of the officers suffered serious injuries, OPP Act. Sgt. Dave Woodford said.
The officer in the second cruiser suffered minor injuries and the occupants of the Honda were not hurt, police say.
