UFC changes number for Toronto show, still April 30 but will now be UFC 129

TORONTO - Same day. Different number.

The UFC's April 30 show in Toronto will be UFC 129 rather than UFC 131 as originally announced, the UFC said Thursday.

The mixed martial arts organization has already announced events up to 127, in addition to the Toronto show.

UFC 125 is Jan. 1 in Las Vegas, 126 is Feb. 5 in Vegas and 127 is Feb. 26 in Sydney, Australia.

There had been rumblings of shows in Abu Dhabi and Newark after that.

Now, there will just be one show between 127 and the UFC's debut in Toronto before what is expected to be a record MMA crowd for North America at the Rogers Centre.
