Webnation is back on CP24 in a new weekly timeslot, but tips from host Amber MacArthur will be available all week long on the show’s new website, Webnation.tv.

Starting Oct. 14 at 5:15 p.m., MacArthur will bring her well-known brand of web news back to CP24 in a fresh, new format. But as always, the show will feature viral videos, top tech experts, reviews and breaking tech news, presented in an entertaining and easy-to-understand way.

Plus, CP24 Web Journalist Maurice Cacho will answer viewers’ tech questions.

For viewers who can’t get enough, there will also be lots of extra content on the show’s site, including new webisodes twice a week. There will also be web content for the show offered on CP24.com.

The inaugural episode features segments with Canadian award-winning author Margaret Atwood, talking about how she has gone multiplatform to engage with her audience.

It will also include details on the hottest app for the iPhone right now that has everyone singing in auto-tune, as well as a peek at Google Wave and Windows 7.

“Webnation underscores how CP24 is in touch with its viewers and their needs,” says Bob McLaughlin, vice-president and general manager of CP24.

“Technology plays an increasingly important role in the lives of so many Torontonians and this show will address the appetite for the latest breaking news from the Web.”

Webnation airs every Wednesday from 5:15 to 6 p.m. on CP24.
