Police need help finding a suspect after a woman was sexually assaulted while waiting for a TTC bus on O'Connor Drive.
The woman was talking on her cellphone while standing at the stop, near Woodbine Avenue, at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday. A man grabbed her from behind and dragged her to the ground, sexually assaulting her.
She screamed and managed to fight off the suspect who fled into a nearby ravine. He's described as white, about 30 years old, five foot nine, and 200 pounds with very short blond hair.
He had about one day's growth of hair on his face, and was wearing a black puffy jacket, jeans and white shoes.
The attack is the latest in a string of similar assaults in the area, with the attacker targeting women waiting for or leaving TTC vehicles.
