There were no major crashes reported Thursday morning, but the OPP around Toronto are dealing with more than 400 collisions since the snow started falling yesterday.

Crews were out all night clearing the snow that started falling Wednesday afternoon. By early morning, seven centimetres had fallen at Pearson Airport, while Buttonville recorded eight centimetres.

Salters and sanders have been out all night to clear the streets. Overnight clean-up efforts have left most of the main roads in pretty good shape.

However, more than 300 drivers made their way here to the collision reporting centre in Scarborough after being involved in some sort of fender - bender.

The familiar sound of shovelling was heard all across the city as homeowners cleared off sidewalks and driveways.

Most people woke-up to a winter wonderland with the snow covering everything in sight.
