An all-night celebration of the arts will result in a number of road closures throughout the city beginning Saturday afternoon.
Nuit Blanche will be staged at numerous venues throughout the downtown core from 7 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday.
Road closures in effect as a result include:
- Yonge Street from Gerrard Street to Wellington Street between 8 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday
- Bay Street from Dundas Street West to Wellington Street West between 3 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday
- King Street from Jarvis Street to Peter Street between 3 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday
- Church Street from Shuter Street to Front Street East between 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 p.m. Sunday
- Queen Street from Jarvis Street to University Avenue between 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.
TTC streetcars on King Street will be diverted onto Queen Street, between Jarvis Street and Spadina Avenue as a result of the closures.
TTC service will be operating all night to transport art lovers from venue to venue.
