Halton police charge Toronto man with human trafficking

BURLINGTON, Ont. - A Toronto man is facing human trafficking and other charges after police responded to an assault call at a motel in Burlington yesterday.

Police say a female victim suffered minor injuries to her face and received treatment in hospital.

Twenty-eight year old Brandon Curtis Henry is charged with two counts of assault, human trafficking and procuring to become a prostitute.

Henry was held for a bail hearing today in Hamilton.
