Police have released video surveillance footage of an armed robbery at a midtown jewelry store in an effort to identify the suspects.
Police say that on May 1, two men armed with a shotgun entered a jewelry store in the area of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue.
The suspect with the shotgun pointed the weapon at people inside the store, racked the gun twice and ordered them to get down on their knees, police say.
Police say the armed suspect used the butt of the gun to break the display cases while the second man took the jewelry and placed it in a dark-coloured duffel bag.
The first man has been described as white, five-foot-nine and between 25 and 30 years old.
The second suspect is described as brown, six feet , and also between 25 and 30 years old.
