Driver arrested after several vehicles struck in Brampton hit-and-run

One person has been arrested after a vehicle ran a red light and struck several cars in a fail-to-remain incident in Brampton Saturday.

It happened on Main Street, between Queen and Nelson streets shortly after 6 p.m.

Peel Regional Police said a vehicle ran through a red light at an intersection and then collided with at least three vehicles before rolling over.

The driver fled the scene on foot, but police tracked him and he was eventually arrested.

No one was injured in the incident.

Main Street is closed between Queen and Nelson streets as police investigate.
