Police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a voyeurism incident involving a nine-year-old girl.
Peel police’s Special Victims Unit is investigating the incident, which occurred on Jan. 25 at a mall in Mississauga near Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorpe Road. Police did not disclose the name of the mall.
Police said the girl was using a public washroom in the shopping centre at the time when the “alleged voyeurism incident” occurred. No other details of the incident were released.
“Investigators are seeking to identify the suspect in this investigation,” police said in a news release issued Wednesday.
The suspect is described as male, standing five-foot-10 to five-foot-11, with a slim build, light facial hair, defined chin, and light-coloured hair.
