Stabbing in Toronto’s west end leaves man critically injured

A stabbing in Toronto's west end has left one man with critical injuries, police say.

One man was rushed to hospital with critical injuries on Friday morning after a stabbing in Toronto’s west end.

It happened near Dovercourt Road and Geary Avenue at around 2:30 a.m.

Police said a man in his 30s was found at the scene suffering from stab wounds and was taken to a trauma centre for treatment.

His injuries, paramedics said, are believed to be life-threatening.

Police have not released any information on possible suspects.
