An arrest warrant has been issued for a 37-year-old man wanted in connection with a forcible confinement case in Brampton.
In a release issued late Monday afternoon, police said the suspect is sought “in relation to a number of serious criminal domestic-related offences.”
No additional details on the alleged offences were immediately provided by investigators.
According to police, the suspect is believed to be actively avoiding arrest somewhere within the Greater Toronto Area, and may be in possession of a firearm.
If spotted, he should not be approached, police cautioned.
Amritpal Gill, of no fixed address, is described by police as South Asian, five-foot-nine, approximately 173 pounds, with a medium build, short black hair, and possibly wearing a black beard.
