Investigations are underway after a beloved restaurant in Six Nations was targeted twice within the span of a few days.
On Saturday, Six Nations Police were called to the Burger Barn on Fourth Line around 3:30 a.m. Police were told shots had been fired at the business. Officers spoke to witnesses and found minor damage to the building’s exterior.
No suspects were identified or located at that time.
Only 48 hours later, at 3:35 a.m. on Monday, emergency services were called to the restaurant again as a fire burned through the structure.
The fire is being treated as suspicious and the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate.
No one was hurt during the fire.
Police said they are trying to determine if there is a connection between the two incidents.
