One person was taken to the hospital on Thursday evening after a small plane made an emergency landing on a Manitoba highway.
According to RCMP, the incident involved a TBM 8 single-engine plane being flown from The Pas to Brandon.
Police said the pilot had to make an emergency landing on Highway 45 near Sandy Lake, adding that the plane came to a stop in a ditch on the north side of the road. Four people were on the plane at the time of the crash, including one who was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Transportation Safety Board has been notified of the incident.
