An adult and a child were among those found dead in an East York apartment on Saturday, multiple sources confirm to CP24.

Police said Saturday that three people were found dead inside the Thorncliffe Park Drive apartment around 4:45 p.m.

There is conflicting information regarding the age of the third victim.

Police would not confirm details about the victims Sunday, but said they would provide more information in a news release Monday.

Autopsies are also expected to be conducted on the bodies Monday to determine the exact causes of death.

A police source told CP24 Saturday that investigators are looking into a connection between the discovery of the bodies and another incident Saturday where a man who fell to his death from the Leaside Bridge around 1:10 p.m. Saturday, landing on the DVP.

A resident at the apartment building told CP24 that he saw police frantically trying to get into a green minivan on the second level of an underground parking garage Saturday.

Police said no further updates are expected to be released Sunday.
