Peel police say they are treating the discovery of a body in a Brampton pond Wednesday afternoon as suspicious.
Emergency crews were called to the pond in Allan Kerbel Park, in the Brickyard Way and Quarry Edge Drive area, at around 2 p.m.
Information about the age of the male victim was not immediately provided by police.
While the death is being treated as suspicious, it has not yet been deemed a homicide, police said shortly before 10 p.m.
Investigators said they are awaiting the results of an autopsy.
