Four men are in hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Brampton Tuesday evening.

The crash, involving a large truck and a Honda Civic, happened on Rutherford Road near Williams Parkway shortly after 6 p.m.

A 20-year-old man and a 32-year-old man travelling in the car, along with the 31-year-old driver of the truck all sustained serious injuries, police said. As of Wednesday morning, they had all been treated and released.

The driver of the Civic, a 20-year-old man, was taken to hospital in critical condition. His condition has since improved and police say he is expected to make a full recovery.

Police say speed was a factor in the collision and dangerous driving charges are pending.
