OTTAWA - Happy Veggie World is recalling its Forever Health brand imitation ham products because they contain wheat which is not declared on the label.
The affected products -- Imitation Ham and Vegan Ham sold in 600 gram and one kilogram packages respectively -- were sold in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba and Quebec.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the recall.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says it is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to other products being pulled from store shelves.
