A male has been rushed to the hospital with critical injuries following a single-vehicle collision in Richmond Hill on Sunday.

The crash happened on Highway 407 eastbound at Bayview Avenue.

Police said that the victim was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Currently only two lanes of the highway are open due to the ongoing investigation.
