Peel police have charged a 22-year-old man with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Brampton last month.

It happened at a plaza at Kennedy Road and Steeles Avenue shortly before noon on June 26.

According to police, two men were sitting inside the 50-year-old victim’s vehicle when an argument ensued and the victim was shot.

The suspect fled the scene following the shooting.

The victim was transported to hospital and has since been released.

On Thursday, a suspect was arrested in connection with the investigation.

Raheem Rowe is charged with attempted murder, as well as several firearms-related offences.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Brampton on Friday.
