Investigators have released a surveillance camera image of a man wanted for allegedly assaulting and robbing a man in his own home who answered his Craigslist ad offering a ring for sale.

Toronto Police say the suspect put an ad up on Craigslist offering a ring for sale. A 40-year-old man responded to the ad and gave the seller his home address.

On May 17, police were called to a unit in a building at 110 George Street.

Investigators allege the seller went to the victim’s address and allegedly assaulted him and robbed him.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
