Paramedics say a man has been rushed to hospital in serious condition after a stabbing near Steeles Avenue and Weston Road.
Police were called to 1880 Ormont Drive at around 6 a.m. and when officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The victim, who is believed to be in his 50s, is being treated at a local trauma centre.
Police say one male was arrested at the scene but it is not known if charges have been laid.
