One person was rushed to hospital in critical condition after a fire broke out in a Hamilton home early Wednesday morning, fire officials say.
Hamilton Fire Department spokesman Claudio Mostacci said the victim suffered burns in the fire.
The victim is believed to be a man in his 20's.
The fire occurred in a home, which is divided into apartments, on Cannon Street East, and was reported shortly before 4 a.m.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the blaze.
