Peel Police say they are investigating after three people were found dead at a home in the Kennedy Road and Bovaird Drive area in Brampton Sunday.

Police are describing the situation as a possible murder-suicide.

Const. Fiona Thivierge said police were called to the home on Hinchley Wood Grove around 10:40 a.m. Sunday after a family member was unable to get in touch with one of the people in the home and became concerned.

Police arrived and found a 57-year-old woman, a 61-year-old man and a 91-year-old man dead inside the home.

Police have confirmed that all of the victims resided at the home. It’s not known if any weapons were involved in the deaths.

Thivierge said police are still waiting to notify next of kin.

Neighbour Bibi Hamid told CP24 Sunday night that two of the people who lived in the home were a married couple.

“We’ve lived on this street for over 20 years and they are known to us," Hamid said. "Very, very nice people. Quiet, easy-going people, never caused anyone any trouble."
