Police are investigating after a driver crashed a rental car into a tree in a North York park and then fled the scene on foot.
The accident happened at Glendora Park near Sheppard and Bayview avenues.
Police say that they were first notified about the collision at 5:55 a.m., though it is not immediately clear when it actually occurred.
According to police, the vehicle has extensive damage to its front-end.
