Police have released surveillance camera images of a man who has allegedly robbed three banks in Toronto and Cobourg over the last several weeks.

The first robbery occurred at a branch in the Sheppard and Midland avenues area at around 6:45 p.m. on Friday, February 11.

In that incident, police say a male suspect handed a note to the teller indicating that he was robbing the bank and was armed with a gun.

The teller then handed the man a quantity of cash, which he proceeded to put into his black satchel.

The second robbery occurred at a branch in the Yonge Street and Yonge Boulevard area at around 6:45 p.m. on Feb. 19.

In that incident, police say the man again handed the teller a note stating that he was robbing the bank.

This time, police say the man started to pull a gun out of his satchel, at which point he was given a quantity of cash.

The third incident occurred at a branch in Cobourg on Thursday and was only linked to the suspect after his image was publicized on Friday morning.

In that case, police say the same suspect, this time wearing a trench coat and a wig, produced a note demanding cash and then fled the premises after he was given an unknown quantity of money.

The suspect is described as white, in his 40s, five-foot-seven to five-foot-nine with a thin build and prescription glasses.
