Toronto police have released security camera images of a pair of suspects wanted in connection with a sexual assault in the downtown core early Sunday morning.

Police say that the female victim was sitting on some steps in the Dundas and Sherbourne streets area when she was approached by a male and sexually assaulted between 4 and 5 a.m.

Following the first sexual assault, police say the victim was approached by a second male and assaulted again.

Police describe the first suspect as white, in his early teens to mid-20s, with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing baggy blue jeans, dark shoes, and a black or blue hooded sweatshirt with a large “Under Armour” logo on the chest.

The second suspect is described as white, in his early teens to mid-20s, with shaved, short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing jeans, dark shoes with white trim, a golf-style T-shirt with horizontal stripes and a grey hooded sweatshirt. He also had an orange or red “cinch bag” on his back, police say.

Police released security camera images of both suspects Friday afternoon.
