The Toronto-bound lanes of the Queen Elizabeth Way are closed in Oakville following a fatal collision that killed one person, Ontario Provincial Police have confirmed.
The four-vehicle crash has closed the highway at Trafalgar Road.
The circumstances surrounding the collision, which included two commercial vehicles, were not immediately known.
One patient was also transported to hospital with what were described by police as minor injuries.
Emergency crews are currently on the scene.
In an interview with CP24 at 11 p.m., police said the closure could last up to eight hours.
