A 59-year-old Toronto man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in Mississauga, Peel police have confirmed.
It happened at Dixie Road and Shawson Drive, just northwest of Highway 401, at around 9 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the crash – which involved a tractor trailer and a car – were not immediately known.
The victim, who was travelling in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The intersection is currently closed as police investigate.
