A 21-year-old woman is being accused of driving 175 km/hr in Richmond Hill overnight.
Police say they pulled over a driver on Highway 7 near Hunters Point Drive – an 85 km/hr zone -- shortly after midnight.
The woman, who was driving a BMW, had her car impounded and her license suspended for 7 days which is the usual steps police take whenever someone is charged with going more than 50 km/hr over the speed limit.
Glikeria Nikiforova has been charged with stunt driving and speeding.
Police were in the area looking for speeders after a motorcyclist was found going 197 km/hr last week.
