Who can vote?

If you're 18 years of age or older, are a Canadian resident and reside in an electoral district, you're eligible to vote.

As of Oct. 2010, Ontario is divided into 107 electoral districts. If you're unsure which is yours, just click here and follow the simple instructions to determine your district.

Who are the candidates?

Next, you might want to know more about the candidates running in your area. Just click here, enter the requested information, and you'll have a list of eligible candidates in your area.

Where can I vote?

With your district and candidate information now in hand, you can figure out where your closest polling station by clicking here.

This website will also provide information on your local returning office, the name of the returning officer in your area and information on the accessibility of the various voting locations in your area.

When can I vote?

You can vote:

- In person on Oct. 6. from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

- In person at an advanced poll at your returning office from Sept. 21 to Sept. 30.

- By special ballot, either in person or by mail.

Voting by special ballot in person runs from Sept. 8 to Oct. 5 and is done at your returning office.

For voting by mail, you must send a completed special ballot application package by Sept. 30. You can download the application package here.
