As part of its master plan, some projects of the multi-million dollar overhaul have already been completed while shovels are still in the ground for others. Here’s a look at what’s happening at the Toronto institution. December 20, 2024 at 10:59AM EST Toronto Zoo Entrance Crews broke ground on the new front entrance earlier this year, with plans to open up the space and incorporate larger animal enclosures for guests to view as soon as they arrive. (Toronto Zoo) Toronto Zoo Greenhouse Meanwhile, the Toronto Zoo says it's completed renovations to its greenhouse, which supports its plans to drive traffic to the Wildlife Health Centre. (Toronto Zoo) Toronto Zoo Pavillion In addition to all the work currently underway, the Toronto Zoo has said it also has plans to introduce a brewery, yurts for overnight stays, and an indoor viewing and holding area during the colder months, which will all be available for rent as a venue for events.
