King Edward III ruled England for less than one year before abdicating in December 1936 to marry twice-divorced American socialite Wallis Simpson. Prince Albert, Queen’s Elizabeth’s father, was next in line to the throne.

Where: Westminster Abbey in London, England
The late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip met in 1939 and were married in 1947. The Royals were married for 73 years until Prince Philip’s death on April 9, 2021 at age 99. The Queen passed away on Sept. 8, 2022 at age 96.

Prince Hamzeh of Jordan and Princess Noor bint Asem are second cousins and share one daughter: Princess Haya bint Hamzah. The pair divorced in 2010 and have since married other people and have other children.
Prince Hamzah was removed as crown prince in 2004 by his brother, King Abdullah II of Jordan, and he relinquished his royal title in 2022.
