Canadian tennis player Milos Raonic has dropped one spot on the latest ATP rankings to No 27.

Raonic, of Thornhill, Ont., hasn't played since suffering an injury during his second-round match at Wimbledon.

He had reached a career-high No. 25 in the rankings going into the tournament.

Raonic, who underwent hip surgery last week in Vail, Colo., is expected to make a full recovery and resume hitting a ball in about five weeks.

Philip Bester of Vancouver dropped seven places to No. 214, while Peter Polansky, also of Thornhill, dropped three spots to No. 182.

Toronto's Adil Shamasdin, who lost in the doubles final Sunday at the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in Newport, R.I., moved up eight places to a career-high No. 61 in doubles.
