It sounds like some residents at a west end apartment building had better garbage collection service during the strike by city workers than they're receiving now.

People living at 150 Fermanagh Avenue near Roncevalles say the trash bins just outside their building haven't been emptied in two weeks.

Residents say they've complained and complained but the smelly garbage remains.

The local city councillor Gord Perks says part of the problem is construction in the area that has made it harder for the large garbage trucks to reach the bins.
