TORONTO - Safety Etienne Boulay accepted a contract offer from the Toronto Argonauts Sunday afternoon.

The 28-year-old Montreal native, who missed most of last season with a concussion, was released by the Montreal Alouettes on June 15.

A popular player with Montreal fans, Boulay lifted the Grey Cup with the Alouettes in 2009 and 2010.

Boulay had 127 defensive tackles, 43 special team tackles and 11 interceptions in six seasons with the Alouettes.
