OKLAHOMA CITY - Jenn Yee of North Delta, B.C., blasted a three-run homer as Canada earned a walk-off 11-8 win against the Netherlands and a bronze medal at the US World Cup of Softball VII on Monday.

Canada rallied in the bottom of the seventh inning when Kelsey Haberl was hit by a pitch and Megan Timpf singled to reach base.

With two outs, Toronto's Joey Lye placed a perfect drag bunt down the first base line to tie the game before Yee smacked it to right field to give Canada (3-3) its third straight win at the tournament.

Canada jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first, as Lye reached on an error, stole second base and later scored on a single by Kaleigh Rafter of Guelph, Ont.

Canada scored five more runs in the next inning. With the bases loaded, Yee hit a line drive to score two runs, and Rafter reached on an error to bring another run home.

Sheena Lawrick of Calgary then drove a double to centre to score two more runs and give Canada a commanding 6-0 lead.
