TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled defenceman Petter Granberg from the AHL's Toronto Marlies on an emergency basis Saturday.

Granberg, 22, has yet to record a point in three regular-season games with the Maple Leafs this season.

The Gallivare, Sweden native has appeared in 29 games this season with the Marlies, registering one goal and six assists with 18 penalty minutes.
