Daniel Johnson joined BNN Bloomberg’s digital team as a Journalist in May 2022. Based in Toronto, he covers stories across the Canadian business landscape and specializes in economics, real estate and equities. Prior to joining BNN Bloomberg, Daniel was a freelance journalist for the Financial Post and worked as an intern on the National Post’s web desk in 2021. He also holds a Bloomberg market concepts certificate. Daniel holds a master of journalism degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, where he earned the Matt Walcoff Memorial Award for achievement in business journalism. He also holds an honours bachelor of arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in psychology and communications studies. He speaks English.
