Jermaine Wilson

Jermaine Wilson is a Multi-Platform Writer for CTV News Toronto and CP24. He joined the digital team in January 2025, following a brief stint at CTV National News in 2024. As an all-around generalist, he has a particular interest in crafting conversational explainers, breaking news, and Canadian/U.S. politics. Before joining Bell Media, Jermaine has spent time with leading Canadian outlets, including the Toronto Star, the National Post, the Globe and Mail, and Yahoo News Canada. Throughout his career, he has seamlessly navigated roles in writing, video production and social media. Jermaine holds a degree in journalism from the University of Toronto and a graduate certificate in contemporary journalism from Centennial College. He is a notable recipient of U of T’s IRE scholarship and 2022 Peter Dickinson Honouree. Jermaine speaks English.
