Natalie Johnson is a videojournalist with CTV News Toronto, covering municipal politics and affairs as the City Hall reporter. Johnson has provided comprehensive coverage of politics and policy at Toronto City Hall since 2010, with a lens on issues that matter to Torontonians: traffic, housing, transit, affordability, and more. She delivers extensive reporting on political campaigns and elections, council debates and budgets, and daily news coverage of major decisions that shape the city. Johnson began her career in 2007 as a reporter at CTV News Ottawa before moving to the CTV News Parliamentary Bureau, where she worked as a field producer for CTV NATIONAL NEWS, later producing the network’s flagship political program, CTV’s QUESTION PERIOD. Johnson holds a bachelor of journalism from Carleton University. She speaks English and French, and is proud to call Toronto home.
