TORONTO -- Ten competitors are left in the search for Canada's favourite dancer on "So You Think You Can Dance Canada," CTV says.

During Thursday's live broadcast, host Leah Miller announced the bottom three couples; Natalli Reznik, 28 and Frances Lafreniere, 28 who performed a salsa routine; Allie Bertram, 18, and Danny Arbour, 26 who performed a hip-hop routine and Lara Smythe, 25 and Miles Faber, 21, who performed a foxtrot routine.

The judges decided Smythe and Lafreniere would be sent home.

The Top 10 comprise dancers ranging in age from 18 to 28 and a variety of dancing styles, including contemporary, Latin and hip-hop. The competitors represent communities from across the country.

They have survived seven elimination rounds and outlasted almost 10,000 other competitors. During the finale in December, one of these 10 finalists will be voted Canada's Favourite Dancer and win $100,000 and the keys to a 2009 Mercedes C230.

The first Top 10 performance episode is next Wednesday.

The competition will become more intense as the Top 10 face new choreography and new partners each week.

Offering advice and support behind the judge's desk for the Top 10 episodes will be Tre Armstrong and Jean Marc Genereux, along with guest judges Blake McGrath and Luther Brown.

Who stays and who goes is in the hands of Canadians, as viewer votes solely determine who continues in the competition and who goes home.
