CP24 Breakfast Heather Milne says this original recipe has been in her family for years. It was her Nana's special holiday recipe, one that her mom enjoys making today.

Heat well

1 cup Tomato Soup - straight from the can

and add:

1 large package of room-temperature Philadelphia Cream Cheese. (Do not use soft Philadelphia Cream Cheese as now sold)

Sit and stir until it's in small bits.

Then add:

1 1/2 envelopes of Knox gelatin, dissolved in 1/2 cup of cold water.

Add:

1 cup of Mayonnaise

1 cup of celery, finely chopped

1/2 cup of green onions finely chopped

2 cans or 1 lb. of cooked shrimp well chopped.

Season to taste and make sure all ingredients are combined well.

Place in a greased container. It keeps well for several days.
