Three people were sent to hospital after a York Regional Police cruiser crashed into a civilian vehicle Monday afternoon.
Police say the cruiser was on Hwy. 7 responding to a robbery in the Weston Rd. and Hwy. 7 area when it hit an SUV.
Two officers in the cruiser and the driver of the SUV were taken to hospital as a precaution after suffering minor injuries in the crash.
Investigators say they aren't sure how the crash happened, and the investigation is ongoing.
