The Toronto police Hold-Up Squad were busy on Friday dealing with two bank robberies in the city's east-end.

The first robbery took place at Queen Street and Pape Avenue where witnesses say a woman walked in and demanded money.

Then about 45 minutes later, another bank was robbed at Danforth and Greenwood Avenues. Once again, witnesses say the suspect was a woman.

There have been several reports in recent days of a woman or someone who dresses as a woman targeting banks in the city's east end.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS.
