Police officers are on scene at Ossington subway station where a TTC bus driver was attacked shortly before 10 a.m.

The driver has an injury to his left arm and has been taken to hospital.

Police are connecting the suspect with another incident on the TTC just an hour earlier, saying they believe he stole tokens from a driver near King and Shaw Streets shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

In that incident, a man carrying a red backpack stole several tokens as he was getting off the bus.

Police are still looking for the assailant, who is being described as a black male in his twenties, about five-foot-eight with a slim build. He was wearing a black baseball cap at the time of the incident.
