A day after the TTC rolled out 93 buses on Toronto streets, drivers are saying the vehicles aren't safe.

Despite a policy demanding drivers check their vehicles before they move them, a survey has found some are saying that the push to get out on the road is leaving safety behind.

Others suggest they're being forced to drive broken buses.

The TTC says the report was about employee safety and not passengers. They say there is no need for passengers to be concerned about their safety.

In the past two years, two accidents have killed one worker and injured 10 others.

Yesterday, the transit commission added 93 more buses during rush hour to bus routes across Toronto.

They also expanded service hours with almost all of new buses to operate until 1 a.m. to coincide with subway service hours.

The TTC is the country's largest and the continents third-largest public transit system providing service to 1.5 million people daily.
