Male in life-threatening condition following Oshawa house fire

The blaze broke out at 367 Centre St. S., which is south of Dundas Street East and west of Brock Street South.

A male has been rushed to the hospital with critical injuries following a house fire in Oshawa on Monday night.

The blaze broke out at 367 Centre St. S., near Gibb Street.

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) along with Oshawa Fire Services said they were called to that area just before 8 p.m.

Police told CTV News Toronto that a male was found inside the residence and transported to a local hospital in life-threatening condition.

“The investigation remains ongoing, however (the fire) does not appear suspicious at this time,” they said.

Oshawa fire is asking people to avoid the area.
